a) All team standings are determined by using the following criteria, in order
of importance:
1. Total number of points – maximum 3 per game. Each team receives 3
points for a win, 1 for tie, and 0 for a loss.
2. Record head to head (if 3 or more teams within a group are tied, head to
head will not be used).
3. Goal difference (GD) – subtract total goals allowed from total goals
scored. The maximum recorded “goal difference” in any one game shall
be four (4).
4. Least number of goals allowed (GA).
5. Most goals for (GF) up to a maximum of 4 goals per game being
considered.
6. FIFA tie breaking procedure of kicks from the penalty mark. If 3 teams
are tied at this point, the tournament director will decide the procedure.
b) If 3 teams are tied, the tie-breakers will be applied until one team is
eliminated. Starting with tie-breaker #3, the rules will be applied with the
two remaining teams until a winner can be determined.
c) A forfeit by any team will be recorded as a 0-4 loss. Additionally all games
involving that team will be recorded as a 0-4 loss.
